Facebook login error

I have another account, but it is linked to Facebook. When I try to log in it will not work; indicating that the app is in developer mode. Is there a way to get my account unassociated with Facebook? I tried to follow the online instructions to remove facebook but it still requires a login which returns to the facebook problem.
