YouTube downloads have stopped working again.
To be more specific, the download does start, but once it reaches around 250 MB, the progress stops, the download fails, and the file is not saved locally.
For smaller videos under 250 MB, the progress bar appears to reach 100% and looks as if the download has completed, but the file still fails to save, so the download ultimately does not succeed.
Based on discussions in forums for other downloaders, I suspect that YouTube has made some changes that are preventing downloads.
I would really appreciate it if this issue could be fixed.

It did worked Jan 27, 2026 - downloaded 4 videos from Youtube - each 4 videos was 45 minutes long. Then today, I opened Google Chrome - saw small note - "Chrome Updated". Then suddenly Realplayer Downloader stopped working. Damn you, Google!

I tried several download attempts using different combinations of multiple YouTube accounts I happened to have and a VPN software.
It appears that the YouTube side strictly controls whether downloads are allowed or not based on each combination of YouTube accounts and IP addresses.
When I logged in with one of my YouTube accounts and downloaded using the version 25 downloader, the download initially succeeded.
However, after downloading a certain amount of data, a limit was applied and I could not download any further.1 -
I just purchased the newer version, but it is not downloading YouTube videos; Facebook videos are downloading.

Having issues dowloading also. then says Unable to download

When I tried to download from YouTube, it started to become unstable about two days ago, and by January 30th, I was no longer able to download at all. Please fix this.

Yesterday 1-29-26 download quite downloading, last year had same problem and it was a google issue as best I remember and Real player made a fix download so they need to be checking it out for customers. Download will start then stop and not complete download. Real player phone# 1-866-688-2077.

That goes for me, too. I tried downloaded from YouTube since about an hour ago, and it says the same thing. It maybe my internet problem which I've gotten fixed by rebooting.
