Still Unable to Download from YouTube, even after Update from 2/3/2026
This is still not working. I even logged out of YouTube in RealPlayer and back in. Restarted my computer, and a few other attempted fixes.

It does not work for me either. I have even uninstalled it and re-installed it (this is the only way I get the update). I have logged into YouTube. I have restarted my computer. It just does not work even with the update.

Same for me. I even tried to upgrade to 25 Plus but the payment page is also not functioning properly. And I have found no actual customer support link, just a feedback. I used to love RealPlayer. With all these issues, downloader and upgrades, it's gone to crap now.

I have repeatedly tried to get mine working again on youtube buut this app will only download MP4A which is audio only I am about tired of this b/s game. I also use screencast and even if I have to use it instead I will get the video. But I have been a customer of real player for over a decade and if they don't fix this shit soon I will say bye bye

This is not working in Chrome, but does work with Firefox. So, it is browser specific.

and today, Firefox want's me to log into YouTube, but the dialog box in RealDownloader won't allow me to enter my email. We need another UPDATE.

Can you please confirm if you are able to download from a non-YouTube website such as Dailymotion?
Please confirm if you are able to download any video from this website.

If you are able to download from a non-YouTube website, then most probably you are being blocked by YouTube. Try connecting your computer to your Phone's hotspot and try to download a YouTube video. If you are able to download after connecting to your hotspot, then YouTube is certainly blocking you from downloading videos through your Internet Service Provider. In that case, you could call them and ask them to provide you with a new IP address.0 -
I just tried downloading from the dailymotion.com site. It did not work.
I have tried downloading videos from 3 different computers on 3 different ISPs. Downloading YouTube videos sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. I have tested it out with videos that I downloaded fine in January but can't now. I am not being blocked by Youtube. RealPlayer is just not working.
What is being done to fix RealPlayer?

Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.

25.0.0.316. I just downloaded it today and installed the update. And I just checked agian. It says no updates are available.

Is there any fix for the issue? The update on 2/3 doesn't work. And no response from RN.

That is not the version number you will see if you follow the instructions correctly. The version number should be 2026.02.21.0. If you are seeing an older number, then you are on the wrong version. Here are the instructions again.
