Real Downloader
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Real Player. When I try to install the Real Downloader, it says it is version 2026.2.21.0. According to your latest update, the new version is 2026.2.26.0. When I click on Check For Updates, it says I have the latest version. How can I update to 2026.2.26.0? This previous version still will not download videos from YouTube.

If you are able to download from a non-YouTube website, then most probably you are being blocked by YouTube. Try connecting your computer to your Phone's hotspot and try to download a YouTube video. If you are able to download after connecting to your hotspot, then YouTube is certainly blocking you from downloading videos through your Internet Service Provider. In that case, you could call them and ask them to provide you with a new IP address. -
I have been waiting for the support staff to reply to this message but nothing has happened. I also still can not download videos from YouTube. Is anyone responding to this problem?

I'm having the same problem! All I can do is cross my fingers and hope the new update arrives so I can download YouTube videos again.

I was able to download from Dailymotion. So I suppose YouTube is blocking my address. Can they do that legally?

J'ai pu aussi télécharger sans problème sur Dailymotion ! Par contre la dernière mise à jour de mon RealPlayer est la 2026.2.21.0 (je suis en France) et aucune autre mise à jour plus récente de Real Player n'est proposée ! Je trouve cela gonflé de la part de YouTube de ne pas prévenir avant que le téléchargement de vidéos n'est plus possible sur leur site (en tout cas en France et en Europe) !

Capture de l'écran de la dernière version de mise à jour proposée par RealPlayer. Cette version ne règle en rien le soucis de téléchargement sur YouTube ! Est ce qu'une autre version peut régler le problème de téléchargement de vidéos sur YouTube ?

You have to install that version that you see. If you are using any VPN services, please disconnect it and try again. If you are still having this issue, try connecting your computer to your Phone's hotspot and try to download a YouTube video. If you are able to download after connecting to your hotspot, then YouTube is probably blocking you from downloading videos through your Internet Service Provider. In that case, you could call them and ask them to provide you with a new IP address.

A lot of us are experiencing the poor behaviour of Real Player and the horrid customer service!
