I do not know how to add this to my initial comment & discussion stream

I had a licensed version before 24Plus. That version encourage to pay an One time fee to upgrade to 24Plus promising to able to download a playlist & unlimited speed. I did and it did as promised with unlimited speed. About the time when windows offer free upgrade to Win 11 and my old laptop did not qualify. Just about that time, I am not able to download any playlist and the speed is limited to 10 MB. at that time, I do not care. Yet it started the encouraging message, urging to upgrade. Each time it popped up, I just ignored it. 

As per my initial posting, the downloader failed with Unable to Load Message while downloading was in progress.

The downloader tag is still active, and linker on waiting to download, and then turned to Unable to Download and stopped.

My opinion is this:

Do Not Upgrade

because I'm concerned that that the Apps might have a built-in timers to interrupt in order to "Encourage Upgrade" - a business enhancement Tactic??? I do Not Know, but I'm concern. Because if this "encouraging Upgrade Tactic is Successful", then we are forced to fall into that pattern, if not upgrade, Apps failed. Business to RealPlayer booms more --- revenue stream increase this way is better then new business sales to new users/clients...

On a non-related but similar situation. 

I installed a Chamberlain Garage Door Opener with Built In Video Security System, It worked without any subscription. After a Year or so, on each Apps refresh, the video camera failed. I called the Support it coached me to restart the video camera manually and it works again. I still not subscribing. On each Apps Refresh, the video Security Camera do not work for a day or two and it works again, but only as a static camera, no video. I do not care about the video.

This forced me to entertain the idea --- force subscription to increase business. 
In the past, a sales is a sales, no steady recurring business from that customer for a long while.
With this Video Security Camera Subscription, non existing revenue stream before now materialize somewhat.

What do you think???
I told my experience to all my friends --- word of mouth. Hopefully enough dissatisfaction out there on this type of business tactic will encourage the changes.
