Stop RealPlayer from downloading all my videos from OneDrive
Whenever RealPlayer is open, it will decide (without prompting from me) to - I guess catalogue? video files I have on my system. Except a vast majority of these are on my OneDrive account, so aren't stored on my device storage and don't take up space. When RealPlayer crawls through them, it triggers my device into downloading the entire file to RealPlayer can access it. This is very quickly going to bloat up my storage by downloading content I don't currently need stored on my device.
Any way to deactivate this, otherwise it's a case of not being able to use the software?

RealPlayer is only a media player that adds media files stored in your PC's hard disk or a mapped drive. So if RealPlayer is showing up the videos that are actually stored in those folders, it doesn't mean that the files are being double populated. If you don't want RealPlayer to add files to its library, you can manage this by going into Preferences and remove the folders under Watch Folders.

RN Support: I understand how RealPlayer works, but I don't want the files to be populated even singularly. However, I believe the solution you have offered would prevent RealPlayer from downloading the videos, I have set that now. Many thanks! :)

Just make sure whenever you install RealPlayer, you don't add any folders. This will make sure your RealPlayer library is blank and never populate media files from your PC's hard disk.
