unable to download
When I try to download a YouTube video, I get the message "unable to download". This is a new problem. I have downloaded videos in the recent past.

Can you please share the URL of this particular YouTube video? In addition, can you please let us know the following information:
1. Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
2. Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.Please provide us with the version number you see there.

I cannot download any YouTube videos. The version number is 2022.4.8.0

When I try to 'download a video from a weblink' I get the 'Download a video from a URL' box, but as soon as the cursor reaches it it turns into an hourglass, and there it stays. This has been going on for several weeks now. Is the downloader being jammed by the content provider?
I use Firefox but the same thing happens with Edge.
videodl is a .exe file, clicking on it doesn't bring up a 'Properties' option. Is it safe for me to open the file?

RealPlayer is probably not installed properly or something in your Windows is conflicting with RealPlayer. This is most likely the cause for such behavior. Can you please reinstall RealPlayer and see if the issue is resolved?
