When I try to convert an mp3 file to mp4 it becomes an mp4a and cannot be used in a burn to video, is there a way to do this to just mp4 ?

failure of d.v.d burning
burning d.v.d's has been fine till the last attempt. the burn process begins but stops after two seconds,all files correct for burning and no failure messages come up.just complete failure
