changing video into audio for mp3

Last week I could download videos on to my mp3 and they played as audio. This week they are downloading as videos so I can't play them. This happened to me once before and I seem to remember there was a very easy way of solving this problem. I wish I had made a note of how to do it.

The part I can't find is -click to select a device and choose MP3 audio only. Can you tell me where to find this?
