Cannot download YouTube videos
I have RealPlayer 20/20 running Windows 11 on a PC. Have never had issues downloading, but now I receive this error message when trying to download on YouTube -- "Cannot download videos from this page." I am able to download from other video sites, but not YouTube. I already tried a re-install, and have also tried the re-start Real downloader option. Thanks for your anticipated help on this.

We are noticing that this is a new type of error message coming from YouTube only. YouTube seems to have made changes on their end. Our engineers are trying to understand what changes they've made so we can come up with a resolution.

Can I assume you're working on resolving this problem and will respond to this post when you have corrected it? Without the ability to download YouTube videos, a subscription to Real Networks is of very little practical use.

Yes, you will be notified via email. We also feel YouTube is blocking certain users from downloading their videos. As a workaround, you can contact your ISP and ask them to provide you with a new IP address. Once you get a new IP address from your ISP, YouTube will detect this new IP address and think that you are a new user and shouldn't block you.

Hello. Taking your advice, I took off my Norton anti-virus VPN and used a static IP address and it worked -- I am now able to download YouTube videos as before. I thank you for the recommendation!

I am unable to download any videos on the YouTube website. See below for information for OS, RealPlayer, and screenshoots.

1. I have uninstalled and re-installed RealPlayer 24 Plus. No luck.
2. I can't download from Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. No luck.

The solution would be as I mentioned previously, you can contact your ISP and ask them to provide you with a new IP address. Once you get a new IP address from your ISP, YouTube will detect this new IP address and think that you are a new user and shouldn't block you.
