Realdownloader does not even start anymore. Not even through the file menu.

    Tyler,

Can you please provide the website you are trying to download from? In the meanwhile, please make sure you have the latest version of RealPlayer installed.

Please follow the instructions from the below link to resolve your issue.

Please note: If you have any playlists created, you will have to recreate them.

I was doing it from a site called "watchcartoononline.com". I need clips of a certain cartoon show that I plan on doing an online review of. In the past, I was able to download videos from the site with no hassle or problems whatsoever and the videos would playback in exact or near exact quality from the site.

Now, I do to the site and the site loads normally but shows absolutely no video, not even evidence of where a video is, hence prohibiting me to download it. The same applies to YouTube or other sites equivalent to the one I mentioned above.

I should note that I recently downgraded to Windows 7 (and need to stay on 7 for video projects) and did not have this issue on Windows 10.

I also tried an uninstall and reinstall but that didn't work however I didn't do a "clean one" because I wanted to save all my downloads. If it is necessary to do a clean uninstall then I would be willing to do it, I would just need to redownload the videos again.

I am curious if it is possible to save the downloads that I have currently on a flash drive.

Doing a clean uninstall won't remove any of your files. All your files are stored in your PC so when you reinstall RealPlayer, the files will add back to its library. The only thing you will have to do is to recreate any playlists if you have.

If the instructions from the clean uninstall don't help, please let us know.

    Jorge,

Please follow these steps to resolve your issue.

    1. Open Chrome, Firefox or Edge browser
    2. Go to YouTube and play any video
    3. Click on the Download button (You will still receive a "No videos to download" message)
    4. Close the browser
    5. Restart your PC and go back to download a video now. (Step 3 through Step 5 will update the RealDownloader and you should be able to download videos again)

If the downloader still doesn't work for you, please let us know.
