I tried everything in both things you linked, RealPlayer still stops responding when I open any music or video file.

I did the steps for Most Reliable in hardware Video compatibility, recent install of video drivers and RealPlayer 18, just updated PLUS had it long ago version 15 or 16 got discount. Windows Media ...
