'Not a valid Win32 application' or 'DecodePointer could not be located'
Why do I get a "RealPlayer.exe is not a valid Win32 application" or "DecodePointer could not be located in the dynamic link library" error?
During the download or installation of any software, you can get a 'This is not a valid Win32 application' error if something goes wrong and some of the files become corrupt.
To resolve this issue, uninstall and reinstall.
Additionally, one of these errors can occur if you are using an older operating system, such as Windows XP (Service Pack 1 or below), which is not supported by the current version.
