How to edit Stories
How can I customize the Story I see on my phone?
Once you start playing a Suggested Story, you'll have the opportunity to make the following changes:
Title - While the Story is playing, tap Title and enter a new name for the Story. Tap Done to save the title, then tap Done at the top right to go back to the Story.
Scenes - You can add, remove, or rearrange scenes. After tapping Scenes, you can:
- Tap to select or de-select photos and videos to add or remove them from the Story.
- Tap, hold, and move a photo or video to change where it appears in the Story.
- Tap the pencil icon and Edit Photo if you want to crop, rotate, add text, or make other changes to the photo.
- Tap the pencil icon on a video to select a different start and end time for the scene that plays in your Story.
Effects - Tap Effects to select a filter or change the type of transition that occurs in between scenes. Your selection will apply to the entire Story.
Audio - To change the background music, tap Audio and select a different tune from the app or tap Add to use a song from your phone's music library (My music), from one of the videos in the Story (Audio from your videos) or Record a voice narration. NOTE: the My Music option is temporarily unavailable on iOS 10 devices; we're working to restore this option in the near future.
