1- To resolve this issue, you need to uninstall RealPlayer as described below:

Please do not install RealPlayer at this stage, just follow this steps to remove RealPlayer and delete the application folders. You will install RealPlayer when you reach the line number 2.

The uninstaller shell executable is not responding. This happens at the very end of the uninstall. I waited 10 minutes but nothing happened I also look for the folder in c drive it was not there.

whom ever told me to start in safe mode caused me a whole lot of headaches I have been using a pin # so long I had forgotten my pass word 4 hours later I found it and low and behold edge will not work in safe mode and I didn't find a way to use explorer. I reinstalled realtimes over the  version there and then went to delete ran into the same problem it hangs just before it finishes deleting. I also looked for the folder in C: drive and It's not there. I have no idea why the program is corrupt. I love realtimes (except for the picture program where it makes albums) I really want to get this fixed and back working

Would you please describe what you mean when you say ''will not work in safe mode''. Please be more specific so I can be able to help.

The edge browser will not work in safe mode. A pop up explained that. However I could not find a way to switch to explorer browser while in safe mode

You can use Google Chrome or FireFox.

I am not sure if we are are on the same page. What option you are looking for on Goggle and Firefox. You were trying to re-install RealPlayer in safe mode by following the instructions from this link https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/231760587--Something-has-gone-wrong-while-running-msiexec-

Let me know which step you cannot perform and why.

My real downloader was no longer finding the download links on web pages where it had worked last week. I attempted to uninstall realtimes and reinstall as that would fix the problem of not finding links to download. When I went to uninstall the process hung at the very end and did not completely uninstall. I reinstalled over the top of what was left and tried to uninstall again. Once again it hung up at the very last part and would not finish.  I went to C drive and did a search for the folder I was supposed to delete and did not find it. I need to clean my system of all that is left of real times and do a fresh install to get the downloader to work again. I am sorry if I confused you the the above said to do a reinstall in safe mode. However the edge browser is not available in safe mode and I can't fine a way to use the explorer browser or the chrome browser in safe mode as I did not see that option.

Thank you for the additional info. Please run the Microsoft FixIt to remove the program and all its files by clicking here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

Ok I have run the FIXIT tool and it did makes some changes. I can no longer find the app in my list. Now should I look for the file realplayer  has or had in C.  drive or not? Or can I download the lastest version of realtimes now? I don't want to screw up and have to start all over again.

This morning I did reinstall Realtimes from the real web site. Still would not download vid clips ( I tried to download a clip I did download 2 weeks ago) so I went to uninstall and again near the end of the uninstall it hung up( not responding) so I ran the fixit again to remove it. Nothing has changed as I still have the same problem I had before this all began. ( unable to download vid clips) Is there a stand alone real downloader that works on Windows 10 64bit? That I can try?

Ok I did as you said except I can't find the video quality just a slide bar in best to high quality so I put that in the middle. The only way I can now download is to copy and paste the url into the real player browser. I cannot download anything in the edge browser or the chrome browser. Granted I can now download but the hassle of copy , open Real player browser paste and so on is a royal pain. If I try the other browser I get ( No Videos found at that web address) every time and at all sites. Like I said before 2 weeks ago the sites I normally use worked fine now they don't.

The "No videos to download on this page" message often means that the video (or the website) is incompatible with our downloader for Google Chrome, Edge, and Firefox*. Our Download This Video feature is designed to work with most popular video websites. The workaround is to use the web link as your download option. Please refer to this article:
