Downloader freezes. It won't let me update to version 23.
Hi, can you please help me with the following?
This is what I did:
I've followed the steps I found on some of the posts here but I still see version 22.0.3.345 on the program itself:
1. Open a Windows folder
2. Go to C:\ProgramData\Real\RealUpgrade
3. Delete all the files in this folder (Caution: Please make sure you are deleting these files correctly and not any other files in a different folder)
4. Restart PC.
5. Follow the 3 steps we originally provided again.
6. Restart PC once more. (This should update the videodl)
However, when I go to the file videodl details, the version is 2023.3.4.0:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.

Can you please let us know which version of RealPlayer you have installed?

Sure.
- The download file version is 9.8.0.31
- The RealPlayer I have when I go to the "About RealPlayer" is version 22.0.3.345
- When I go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer. Right-click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab, the version is 2023.3.4.0
I also noticed that even though I deleted the files from the "RealUpgrade" folder (C:\ProgramData\Real\RealUpgrade), the files showed up again.

The files will show up again since that is what we are trying to do (re-populate). The videodl version should read as 2023.7.19.0. This is the latest version as of today. Please confirm if that is not the case for you.

Correct, the videodl version I have is 2023.3.4.0. and not the latest one you mentioned.
What can I do to get the latest version?
