Unable to connect with Realplayer on PC

Which OS is your mobile device on? We assume you are logged into RealPlayer with the same email address on both the PC and mobile, correct?

We just tested this on an iPhone running the same version of iOS and it connected without any issues. We are able to see the videos stored on the PC directly from the iPhone. Something else must be blocking. We will send you an email and take it from there. Please respond to our email.

That does sound frustrating, especially when features you rely on suddenly seem to disappear. Sometimes after updates, certain options like Advanced Settings can get hidden or reset, so a clean reinstall or checking deeper preferences can be worth a try.
