Real Player will not play DVDs

 I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled this player several times.  It will not play DVDs.  It keeps telling me I need an update and then when it tries to install the update, it will not complete the download.  Please help, I have paid for this program and I am unable to use it.

  Can you please ensure that it is not a Bluray DVD. RealPlayer works only with regular DVDs at this time. In addition, please make sure that you are signed into RealPlayer. This will activate your Plus features. Here are instructions to sign in:
