newly recorded music cds will not play on cd players when older recorded ones will play

Older recorded and commercial  music cds will play on my cd players, but newly recorded ones will not play on them and I cannot skip tracks. But they  will play in my new car.I have not changed the settings it is set up to download and record in the realplayer recommended settings I only record the music.

  Can you please let us know the following:

  1. Can you please let us know if you are burning your music CDs as Audio CDs or MP3 CDs?

  2. Are your CD players able to play MP3 audio?

  Yes i am  burning them as music Mp 3 and audio cds and the and the players are able to play mp3 audio and are not defective as i use them to play older cds i have previously burned.Also they will play commercially purchased cds.
