    I can't download anything, from YouTube (haven't tried music videos yet). I'm supposedly up to date; using Edge, Tried rebooting to no avail.

    Same issue that I have discovered yesterday, Aug 19 - 2025. Prior to that day, I had encountered no issue with the RealPlayer video downloader. Downloaded many Youtube videos of personal interest and encountered now issue while viewing online a Youtube video. Hoping that RealPlayer can resolve this issue with a software update....Let me add that I have RealPlayer Ver: 24.0.3.312 installed since last year. Thx.

    YouTube videos not downloading with RealPlayer Downloader here, either.

    This problem downloading videos from YouTube has happened a few times this year. Each time, RealPlayer support has said that it is the result of changes made by YouTube and RealPlayer has fixed the problem with an update to the downloader. 

    What concerns me right now is that at this point (August 20, 12 noon Eastern time) the page header reads "YouTube downloads!  The recent issue affecting YouTube music video downloads has been resolved."  This makes it look as though RealPlayer has not yet seen the posts begun by Steven Medel here and may not yet be aware that the problem is happening again now.  Would appreciate some acknowledgement by RealPlayer support to let us know they are working on it.

      I keep getting a message from Realplayer Downloader that it cannot find the video to download.  I have check my Realpllayer update and it say that I have the latest version.  I verified that I can download video from other sites.   

    This issue has happened several times this year and Realplayer has a quick fix.  It seems tto me that all their fixes are bandaid approaches and not a permanent fix. .

    I have suddenly discovered the same problem as with everyone else above.  As of 8/20/2025, I cannot download You Tube documentary videos or music to Real Player.  I am up to date in my Real Player and You Tube accounts in every aspect but the download feature which worked last week is not working at all now.  When I try to download, I also get the box that invites me to enter the video URL in the slot, but nothing happens and I no longer get the orange button to download a video or music.  What is going on here and when will it be fixed.  Tom Colby

    Thank you to all of you that have responded to my post. I hope someone from the Realplayer team sees our comments and is able to fix this since there is no way I know of to contact customer service.

    Hi.I have the same problems, the last time I used the YouTube downloader was 8/18/25 and it worked, but suddenly two days later it stoped working. I really need this for my work as a Social Media manager, hope they fix it soon...

    Somehow after what I did Instead of following the link in the banner alert which is for an earlier fix, now it works again.  I just removed RealPlayer altogether from App Settings and reinstalled the RealPlayer24 downloaded from Real.com without separately updating the downloader.

    As of 8/22/25, Realplayer has fixed the issue. Thank you to everyone that responded to my post. And thank you to the Techs at Realplayer for solving the issue.
