dvd burning

After latest Real Player update, I cannot burn Dvds, It shows dvd burning disabled.

  I'm signed in, it shows ( preparing to recode files) and Real Networks shuts down.

  I've uninstall Real Player ad install new one, same thing, preparing to encode files and it shuts off after 3 seconds.

  each time I burn a dvd ,I get an error message.device may need a time out or has been reset. I am paying for something that does not work.i have tried 3 different brands of dvds,no change.so help me fix the problem are cancel me.
