I'm having trouble playing, editing, or burning .ivr files in RealPlayer--what can I do?

When you record a video stream using RealPlayer, it creates an .ivr file. This format is proprietary to RealPlayer and can only be viewed and burned in RealPlayer.

Playback Problems

If you experience problems playing an .ivr file, use RealConverter to convert .ivr to any other available format and then attempt playback again.

Burning or Editing Problems

You may burn .ivr files to a DVD; RealPlayer supports 120 minutes per DVD. 

Unfortunately, .ivr files cannot be spliced or edited, so if the file is longer than 120 minutes, you will not be able to burn it to a DVD.
