Android Apps: RealPlayer vs. RealTimes
What is the difference between the two apps? Can I run them both on my phone?
The RealTimes app for Android allows you to share and view photos and videos between devices on the same account, and create video montages called Stories; it's available for phones with Android OS versions 4.4 and higher.
The older RealPlayer app for Android is a media player and media management system for phones with Android OS versions between 2.1 and 3.2. It can display pictures, play downloaded music or radio stations, and play videos on your device. There are no further upgrades planned for this app.
The older RealPlayer app cannot be reinstalled after being uninstalled, as devices with 4.4 and higher will display the new RealTimes app in the phone's Google Play.
