When I used "Repair Information" on my songs, it suggested incorrect information. Why?

"Repair Information" looks at the content of your songs—not just the title and artist—to get something called a digital fingerprint. With a digital fingerprint, you get the best match even if there's no info (or the wrong info) associated with the song.

However, occasionally the database we use finds an incorrect match, particularly if the song is not in English. For this reason, we recommend clicking Review Results so that you can choose which repairs to approve (by clicking Next) and which to ignore (by clicking Skip).
