Video share failed
I tried to share a video, but I got an error message (or the recipient never got the email notification). What happened?
Please check the following:
- Video length: Downloaded videos must be less than 20 minutes long to be shared (although longer videos can be uploaded and stored in your Cloud Library). Videos longer than 20 minutes captured on your Android, iPhone or iPad device can be shared.
- Available storage space: Videos must be uploaded to your Cloud Library before being shared. If you have used most or all of your available storage space, then the upload will fail if the file size exceeds the space available.
- Internet/Wi-Fi connection: It's possible that a dropped connection interrupted the upload-and-share process. Please check your connection and try again.
- Update to the latest version of RealTimes/RealPlayer: On your PC or Mac, open RealPlayer, click the logo, then click Check for Update and select Update (if you don't see this option, then you are already on the latest version). On your device, simply uninstall and reinstall the app.
If the share appeared to be successful but the recipient did not get it, ask them to check their Junk or Spam folder, or if they have a gmail address, ask them to check their Promotions folder.
If none of these troubleshooting steps resolves the issue, please contact Customer Support.
